Range 4 is a 1000 yard range, sometimes we shoot 800 and 1000 and mostly we shoot 1000 yards.  There are other ranges to shoot 100 to 600 yards but when we have enough RSO volunteers to shoot Range 4 Saturday and Sunday, we have had 300/600 yd shooting on Saturday and 800/1000..or just 1000 yd on Sunday.  

We don't have enough RSO's  so that is why You The Shooter don't have the menu of shooting you want on Range 4.   You got time to come to Range 4 to shoot so don't say you can't find the time to be an RSO.   

If you want others to do the work of RSO and you don't like it that those RSO's just want to shoot 800 or 1000 yds all the time, then become an RSO and run 100 to 600 yd shooting on Range 4 or 3 or 2.   

Don't ask others to run a range to meet your needs when you refuse to do the work yourself.  Can't say that clearer. We Range 4 RSO's  are shooters as well and we got no problem doing the work so we can shoot 1000 yards.

Why are we shooting 1000 yds on Range 4?  Because its a 1000 yard range and you shoot pistol on a pistol range and shotgun on a shot gun range and anything else on Ranges 1, 2, 3 and 305.
