- Range open from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM…recreational shooters can arrive at 8:30 AM. (Sea Cadets will arrive at 8:00 AM and proceed to Bay 4.)
- Sign in upon arrival. Ensure you have your membership cards to display to the RSOs. Guests must report to the Clubhouse to obtain a Guest Range Pass prior to coming to the Range.
- Safety Briefing for recreational shooters will be at 9:00 AM behind Bay 1. All personnel must have both sight and hearing protection at all times.
- We will Rec Fire in Bay 1 and Bay 2. No recreational shooters or personnel will be permitted to occupy Bay 3. Bay 4 is reserved for the Sea Cadet Corps Annual Marksmanship Training and Qualification .
- We will try to call a cease fire every 30-45 minutes…or as needed if there are only a few shooters. Pay close attention to the instructions of the RSOs. The Sea Cadets in Bay 4 will not be on the same firing tempo and Bay 4 may be in Hot Status when the other firing lines are in Cold Status.
- Firearms must be brought to the range cased. Do not uncase and case firearms unless on the firing line and the line is in Hot status.
- Holster drawing of firearms is at the discretion of the RSO Team and will be determined by their assessment of risk. RSO decision is not subject to debate.
- Bring your own targets and target stands. QSC does not provide them. There may be some Marine Corps steel targets / plate racks available for club use.
- Pistol caliber ammo may be used on steel targets providing target is 8 yards distant from shooter. PCC may be used against targets 15 yards distant from shooter. Rifle caliber ammo can be used on paper targets only and not to exceed 5.56mm / .308 WIN.
- We will stop shooting at 12:45 PM to close the range by 1:00 PM.
