MCBQ changed range rules for IM to require the gate be LOCKED when firing is taking place. If you show up when the range is HOT and the gate is locked, you will have to call the OIC to gain entry.

• 0845 – Safety brief
• 0900 – Live-fire begins
• 1145 – Final target placement/repair; no new shooters
• 1200 – Final live-fire session
• 1240 – Live-fire ends
• 1300 – Range clear of all personnel

The goal is approximately 45 minutes hot / 15 minutes cold.

Ironman Range is a general-purpose pistol, rifle, and tactical shotgun fire range. Distances are 7 yards to 460 / 700+ yards.  Recreational calibers are authorized up to and including .338 Lapua and 50 BMG. However, Range Control may place restrictions on authorized calibers at any time for any reason. Their decisions are NOT negotiable. Do not ask the RSOs to question Range Control’s decisions.
