Rifle cartridges load developed at the club

Hello All,

I just received my membership card, which I am extremely excited about! I am wondering which range should I keep my eye out to be open for rifle load development? I normally ladder test my loads on paper from 100-300 yards, then dial them in at longer ranges once I have data on the loads, I shoot 308 and 300 win mag.

Thanks I look forward to shooting with the club.

Range 1 is perfect for you

Eric,

For 308, 3006 and lower calibers, Range 1 & Range 305 can offer you 100 yd and 300 meter load development opportunities.  Your 300 Win Mag...can''t do Range 1 but Range 305 would get you the distances you want and offer same as Rg 1 but no shooting benches or over head roof of shooting house.  Both these ranges have plenty of breaks for you to go down range and check / repair targets.

Recommend getting your dope for 100 and 300 yds at those ranges , then come to Range 4 and we can move you (easily) from 300 to 1000 yds if your loads and rifle have the "legs".

Thank you for the response. I

Thank you for the response. I am working up loads now for both my 308 and 300WM. I look forward to coming down in the new year and shooting on range 4.
