Rec Fire - Range 4

Range Opens: Report to Gate 7 off Willis Road at 0715 – the gate closes 0745.  Range Safety Brief will be issued on the 600-yard line at 0800. We will go Hot immediately following confirmation the EMT is present.

Course of Fire: This is a 600 & 1,000 yard shooting day only.  We will stay on the 600y line for as long as necessary to assist new shooters, gain zero or DOPE, test loads, etc.

Schedule: We hope to do a target check at 0930, 1100 and noon. Shooters desiring to depart for the day can do so at noon as we will do target checks and move back to the 1000y line for the remainder of the shooting day.

Range 3 may be occupied so be flexible and expect delays as we coordinate firing with their shooting schedule. Understand that if R3 has a military unit, we cannot impede their schedule so delays could be lengthy. Be flexible and we’ll do our best to ensure all have a great shooting day.

Steel & all target frames: Set up time is 0715-0745 and 1200-1215 only. Tear down 1200-1215 and 1530 only, and further subject to Range 3 schedule.

Shooters:  All Shooters come prepared for quick target set up; come late you wait. No vehicles on any grass, keep on roads. Targets / stands, hydration and food - bring yours-- none provided.  YOU MUST wear ear plugs and ear muffs and have eye protection per USMC base regulations.

Membership cards will be inspected to ensure you are a current club member (liability and safety).

Parking: One the left side of the 600y line access road. With the base’s fiber line upgrades along the 1,000 yard line, we can no longer park in that area. Park in the small lot across the road from 1000 yd line.
