Welcome to Range 1 Rec Fire. Your RSOs will be Meier and Pratt.
Range will be open from 0900 to 1500 (weather dependent). Target set up starts at approx. 0830. The firing line will be hot at approx. 0900.
We will try to maintain a cycle of 45/15 minute hot/cold times. Please show up before the last projected hot time if you would like to shoot.
STEEL TARGETS:
Minimum engagement distances for portable ballistic steel targets:
Pistol: 10 meters
Shotgun (buck): 10 meters
Shotgun (slug): 50 meters
5.56mm: 100 meters
7.62mm: 100 meters
BULLETS CONTAINING STEEL ARE NOT PERMITTED FOR USE ON THIS RANGE. Steel cased ammunition is OK.
This range is authorized for calibers up to .50 BMG. However, .338 Lapua is not authorized.
Shooters must bring their own targets, target stands, tools, fasteners, and other equipment.
Targets are limited to paper, wood, plastic, and approved ballistic steel.
Ballistic steel targets must be a minimum of 3/8" thick and constructed of AR-500 or greater steel. Soft steel is not allowed.
Until a safety determination is made, .22 cal. ammo is not permitted on steel targets.
Pistols and rifles shooting on steel will be segregated by the RSO for safety and control.
Non-meal pistol targets placed closer than 25 yards must be as tall as you.
Please pick up your own brass and trash. Brass buckets will be available.
300 meter shooters will setup in the left two bays. Pistol and short range (≤ 25 yards) shooters will setup in the right two bays. Everyone else may set up in the middle four bays.
Membership cards must be current (not expired) and will be inspected prior to shooting.
All guests must check in with QSC Ops at the Field House/Office to submit fee payments and waivers prior to shooting.
ALL target material must be removed from range after rec fire. Pack it in. Pack it out.
