Target set up starts at approx 0830 hot firing line approx 0900.

Hello, Welcome to range 1 Rec Fire. Your RSOs will be Meier and Pratt.

Range will be open from 0900 to 1500 (3PM).  We will try for a 45/15 minutes hot/cold times.  I plan on running until 1500 unless the weather turns bad.

 

STEEL TARGETS:

Minimum engagement distances for portable ballistic steel targets:

Pistol:                         10 meters

Shotgun (buck):         10 meters

Shotgun (slug):           50 meters

5.56mm:                     100 meters

7.62mm:                     100 meters

NO BULLETS CONTAINING STEEL ALLOWED, Steel cases are fine

Pistol and Rifles shooting on steel will be segregated by the RSO for safety and control.

Until a safety determination is made, no 22 ammo will be allowed on steel targets.

Ballistic steel targets must be a minimum of 3/8" and constructed of AR-500 or greater steel. Soft steel is not allowed.

Shooters must bring their own targets and target stands.

ALL, target material will be removed from range after rec fire.

Shooters please police your brass. Brass bucket will be available.

 

Targets are limited to paper, wood, plastic, and approved ballistic steel.

Non-metal pistol targets placed closer than 25 yards must be as tall as you.

This range is authorized for calibers up to .50 BMG, but .338 Lapua is not authorized.

Police your own brass (plus a little more) and pack out your own trash.

300 meter shooters setup in the left two bays, pistol and short range (≤ 25 yards) shooters setup in the right two bays, and everyone else in the middle four bays.

Membership cards will be inspected and must be current (not expired) for you to shoot
