Any Garand owners willing to share their knowledge and experience with a teenager? My son Peter (15) is learning to use a 1943 Springfield Garand (I am the owner - the rifle has only been used for reenactment purposes up until now). He started with an interest in WW2 history and has participated often with the reenactors' group, and now he's hoping to learn to actually use the rifle. He doesn't have a lot of previous experience with firearms, and I can't teach him myself. I've paid for several lessons with an instructor, so he knows the basics. I've taken him to the range several times to practice. If anyone is willing to volunteer an hour on a Saturday morning to help him improve his form and his knowledge of the rifle, you'd be helping a fine young man with a growing interest in the sport. Thanks - Austin
