Can you have success at 300/600/800/1000 yds

If you are new to shooting longer ranges, come to Range 4 with a good 100 yd zero on your rifle.

From that, we can swag elevation and get you sorted out at 300 yds, move to 600 yds: Usually that is a shooting day.

Next time , come to a 800 / 1000 yd day and we'll get you on target at 800 and move to 1000 yds.

Now you got to show up: you need rifle , ammo, something to lay on. Dollar Store $1 shower curtain will work.  You don't need to be buying all sorts of gear. ..that can come later when you gain experience and talk to fellow shooters on what works well for them.   If your rifle scope has enough optical power, and your rifle barrel is long enough, you can have success at longer distances.

Thus : come to Range 4 and talk to us any shooting day, find out limitations (if any) of your rifle and scope , what type ammo we recommend you use and we can go from there.  If your gear has the "legs", we are going to make every effort to get you to the max distance possible.

Here is a common case: We had a elderly gent show up and his goal with his M4 carbine was to shoot at 300 yds...that was a life time objective.  End of day he was on 600 yds and addicted to longer range shooting.  End of story, he came back several times and shot 600 as well as doing research on what kind of rifle / optic he should consider to get to 800/1000.   He did his home work, pulsed our shooters for options and got a great rifle and is sorting things out at 1000 yds.

Anyone can shoot distance but be warned...its addictive.  We can and will get you back as far as you are willing to go.  We'll push you to exceed your expectations...be warned of that because we know shooting 1000 yds is merely 10 foot ball fields.

Answer to JCMARGO

There is a lot in this answer and to fine tune it to your requirements, pls give me a Call at 703 987 7520.  IE:  Just showing up on a 1000 yd day won't get you much satisfaction .  Do you have a 100 yd zero and do you have a rifle & scope that will get to 1000 yds...or are you just wanting to shoot 300 and 600 yds?   We need to know your objectives and have you come first to a day when we do 300 and 600, then incrementally move to 800 and 1000.  What ammo are you shooting..bullet weight ?   Are you coming when we open the range so we have the entire day to work with you ?   Best to call me and lets get a game plan so you can be successful.  Yeah..we can get you to 1000 yds if ammo/rifle /scope have that potential .  Call me / Skip
