Rifle Events

Range 4 - 600yd Rifle Rec Fire

We shoot only 600 yards. Report to Range safety officers as soon as you enter the range for other instructions.  We  may have changes so be flexible and we'll have a great shooting day.  KD Target Frame are available to members on the range now.  Just come to pits and RSO will issue you a target frame to use. 

Range Opens: Report to Gate 7 off Willis Road at 1215.  Gate closes 1245.  Range Safety Brief will be issued on the 600 yard line at 1250.  We will go Hot immediately following.   

Range 2 - M1A Rifle Match

General Information:  The M1A match was developed to celebrate the M14 Service Rifle and to test the marksman’s ability with a fun and challenging course of fire.  The M1A match is similar to the GSM match in that any safe functional rifle can be used.  National Match modified rifles are allowed and “As issued” rifles will compete in the same class.

Range 2 - GSMM Rifle Match

General Information:  The Garand, Springfield, Vintage Rifle, & Modern Military matches were developed by the Civilian Marksmanship Program for competitors to compete with “as-issued” U.S. M1 Garand, M1903, M1917, M1A, & AR-15 rifles.  However, any safe functional rifle can be used.  National Match modified rifles will be classified as “unlimited”.

Range 4: 1000yd Rifle Rec Fire

We shoot only 1000 yards. Report to Range safety officers as soon as you enter the range for other instructions.  We  may have changes so be flexible and we'll have a great shooting day.  KD Target Frame are available to members on the range now.  Just come to pits and RSO will issue you a target frame to use. 

Due to ammunition shortages we will close at 1200!
