Got a special request from the Boy Scouts last week. We are going to supply the fields and some instruction for a Scout troop this Sat the 28th. Approximately 20-30 scouts are going for there merit badges.
Navy Capt. Mimi Phan will be there to help with the scouts origination. We have several of our good people helping with this event. Dave Sisson,Nelson Bettancourt,Bob Mayers, Lonny Evenson,Steve Austin and myself will be on hand.
We'll have open shooting on all the fields after we get the scouts badged up so come on out and support this worthy event.

Beginner Trap Clinic
Thanks to Dave and Nelson for an outstanding clinic this past Saturday. I've done a fair amount of skeet shooting (self-taught) and I'm fair to middlin' in that discipline, but have never been able to get the hang of trap on my own. The 3 hours spent with Dave and Nelson really gave me a solid foundation to become a decent trap shooter. By the end of the day I broke 16 out of 20 in a practice game with the last 14 in a row. Never done better than 10 or 11 out of 25 before the clinic. Great job and I highly recommend the next clinic for anyone who wants to give trap a try or improve their game!
