Club level I Steel Challenge Match with 6 Stages (3 classifier stages) on Marine Corps Base Quantico's (MCBQ) Small Arms Training (SAT) range.
Based on historically high interest in our Steel Challenge matches, we want to offer an opportunity to allow more competitors to take part in the fun. So, we're going to expand our registration from 45 competitors to 66. To accomplish this, we need to create two separate shooting iterations on match day. Each iteration will have three squads of 11 and run for approximately three hours. Our goal is to move up to 72 competitors. So, come shoot, have fun, and enjoy your day!
You may shoot multiple divisions in this match. However, you'll need to register for separate time slots. For example, you could compete in the PCCO division in the morning and Limited division in the afternoon. Each registration will incur a separate match fee (no change there).
Sign in/registration verification for the A.M. iteration begins at 08:00 and closes at 08:45. Shooter safety and match briefing begins at 08:45. Match begins at 09:00.
Sign in/registration verification for the P.M. iteration begins at 11:00 and closes at 11:45. Shooter safety and match briefing begins at 11:45. Match begins at 12:00.
All shooters must register in Practiscore. https://practiscore.com/clubs/quantico-shooting-club-qps There are no walk ons.
Match Fee: $20 (non-member) / $15 (member / active military)
You may not get a chance to squad yourself, but if you get the email that says you've been approved then you're good to go. Being squadded is not the same as being registered. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.
Additionally, you may be re-squadded on match day based on division/classification or no-shows to ensure proper balance between squads.
Anyone who fails to withdraw by the time registration closes and doesn't show up will be considered a no-show.
Wait Listing: We enabled the wait list function for this match. However, only those who CAN access MCBQ without our assistance should take advantage of the wait list after registration closes (see info about base access below). If you CANNOT normally access MCBQ, do not add yourself to the wait list after registration closes because we will not be able to forward your information to the Provost Marshal's Office (PMO) for vetting.

* Not a QSC Member but visit QSC for matches - Ensure that you provide all necessary personal info during registration. See notes below:
NOTE 1: If you are a non DOD ID card holder, you'll likely need our help to enter MCBQ. We must submit a match attendee roster to MCBQ's PMO NLT Thursday before each match. This roster will contain the following personal information: Full Name, Date of Birth, and Driver's License Information https://www.quantico.marines.mil/Base-Access/
NOTE 2: Again, we will submit your personal information to MCBQ's PMO. Please understand that the PMO will conduct a background check to ensure that you are capable of entering a DoD installation.
NOTE 3: You ONLY need to provide additional info (e.g., Middle name, DL #, and issuing state) on the registration form if you CANNOT normally enter MCBQ.
