2024 Virginia State High Power Service Rifle Championship Is hosted by Quantico Shooting Club

Match Date: Friday 21 June 2024 – Sunday 23 June 2024 ( 3 days of shooting)

Match time: Assembly & registration will begin at 0730 on Range 4 200 yard line. MCB Quantico Visitor
Control Center will open at 0730. Match hot time will be 0900 once cleared by MCB-Q range control.

Location: Marine Corps Base Quantico, Rifle Range 4, Garand Road, Calvin Lloyd Range Complex

Eligibility: This match is open to all qualified shooters who are able to shoot. Membership in QSC, NRA
or CMP is NOT required.

Registration: Participants can enter the match the morning of the competition. If base access is
required email match director 48 hours prior to competition is mandatory in order to be placed on
roster. Email must arrive no later than Tuesday 18 June 2024.

Range capacity: Range capacity for this match is 96 persons broken into three relays. (1) firing (1)
scoring (1) pulling pits.

Squadding: Will take place at 0850 for all shooters. Firing points will be assigned at range come
prepared when registration is open from 0730-0845.

Firearm: “Service Rifle” as defined in the Current Edition of the CMP Competitions Rulebooks:

Awards: EIC Points are given to any non-distinguished shooters who place in the top ten percent of non-
distinguished shooters, provided that the score fired by the competitor equals or exceeds the EIC
Minimum Credit Score. All Points are issued by the CMP.

VA State Champion: The highest score individual from all three days will be awarded the title of VA
State Champion and receive a small prize. Aggregate will include Matches 1, 2, & 3.

Rules: In accordance with the CMP rulebook this match will be fired at 200, 300, & 600 yards.
Competitors are required to abide by all safety rules found in the CMP High-power Rifle rulebook.

Match Fees: $20 match fee per day. Team match will be $20 for (1) team. Recommend bring cash and
receipts can be given by the QSC main office if required.

Course of Fire:
Match # 1 Friday 21 June 2024 – CMP 80 agg
Match # 2 Saturday 22 June 2024 – EIC # 1
Saturday 22 June 2024 -- 4 man team match to be fire directly following Match #2 will need pit pullers!
Match # 3 Sunday 23 June 2024 - EIC #2 ( Both EIC matches are separate and will not be combined.
Competitors may choose to shot one EIC match or both. )
