Range 4 - Precision Rifle Fire

Precision Rifle Fire - Shooting 300 & 600yds lines.

Gate 7 opens at 0700 for initial target set-up and closes at 0745.

Meet at the 300yd line for the safety briefing and we’ll go hot as soon as the EMT’s presence is confirmed.

At 1100 the line will move to 600yds and that’ll be the second chance to set-up or take down targets.

Restrictions:

At this time there are no known caliber restrictions, however Quantico Range Control can make limitations how they see fit at any time.

Targets:

Steel must be set on firing points 25-50. Paper anywhere from 1-50.

No “dueling trees”, “Texas Stars” or other steel that is not stationary with the bias to deflect impacts anywhere but downward.

**NEW** if you place sporting clays on the impact berm, they MUST be removed/cleaned-up before you depart.

Calibers .300WM and up cannot be shot at steel until we move to the 600yd line.

Vehicles:

No parking or driving on the grass at or near the target berm when setting up targets.

300yd line parking is restricted to the dirt road.

600yd line parking on the dirt road or just off the cross road behind the line.

Safety:

QSC now requires some form of empty chamber indicator for any/all firearms on the line during a cease fire, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Any item that reasonably inhibits the weapon from chambering a round is acceptable, with the exception of an empty casing/brass.

Guests:

Guests are always welcome on Range 4, though must check-in at the clubhouse beforehand and sign the guest waiver and pay the fee.

Please feel free to reach out to any of the RSOs with questions before Saturday:
