This is a 600 yard only shooting day from 1000-1400 hours.
ATTENTION: please read these notes carefully.
Check Point 7 gate opens at 0645 for pit entry and will be closed at @0745; please arrive at least a half hour prior to closing to insure quick target set up. Big boy rules here- we’re on time so make sure you’re on time.
The range will NOT go hot until after the QSC meeting that is scheduled from 0800-0900 hours. Don’t come later in the day expecting us to stop the range so you can set up your target, be on time.
There will be no pit entry following the QSC meeting. We will set up, verify the EMT is aboard, perform the safety brief and call for a hot time for a quick start.
Although there are KD frames in the conex, no targets are supplied- bring your own.
Steel shooters- have your target frames or stands perfected prior to showing up. There won’t be time to build the Lincoln Memorial on the berm.
Paper targets authorized for positions 1 though 19. Positions 20 through 29 are reserved for RSO steel targets. Positions 30 through 50 are steel targets only.
There will be a 20 minute break @ approximately 1200 hours to check and retrieve targets. If anyone plans to come later to set targets must arrive at least a half hour prior to 1200 hours as this time is fluid and dependent on prior shooter needs.
No driving or parking on the grass. Shooters may park on the road behind the 600 yard line.
There will be no parking on the range road forward of the firing line at 600 yards.
Hearing and eye protection are required on this range. Bug spray, food and water are not supplied; bring your own. Membership cards will be checked during sign in. If your card is expired, it can be renewed at the clubhouse.
