Range 4 - 100/600/800yd Rifle Rec Fire

Range Hours: 1015-1500

DO NOT ENTER RANGE PRIOR TO 1015

This is a 100-600-800 yard day with the opportunity to confirm zero at 100 yards and practice grouping / collect DOPE at 600/800 yards.

Needless to say, this is not a pistol day...

Steel Targets may not be engaged from the 100 yard firing line!  If you wish to confirm zero at 100 yds, bring paper targets!

Report to Range Safety Officers as soon as you enter the range for other instructions.  We may have changes so be flexible and we'll have a great shooting day.  KD Target Frames are available to members on the range now.  Just come to pits and RSO will issue you a target frame to use.  Members may engage clay birds on the back berm, add 35 yds elevation to your scope...

Range Opens: Report to Gate 7 off Willis Road at 1015.  Pits closed at 1045.  Range Safety Brief will be issued on the 100 yard line at 1050.  Upon confirmation that the QSC EMT is present, we will go HOT.  Get here Early.

General Course of Fire Timeline:

Shooters:  All Shooters come prepared for quick target set up.  Parking as directed by the RSO Team.   We do have KD frames for you toattach your paper targets...ask RSO in pits for a frame.  YOU MUST Wear ear plugs and ear muffs and have eye protection per USMC base regulations

Membership cards will be inspected to ensure you are a current club member (liability and safety). Membership cards that have expired can be renewed at club house.  Ensure your guests have picked up their guest pass at the clubhouse before coming to the range.

Recommend that you bring sunscreen, tick repellent and water.

Parking:   Parking at 100 yds is permitted adjacent to the road behind the 100yd line ground is likely to be soft and marshy so watchwhere you park.   Parking at 600 yds is along the road to the west (left) side of the range behind the 600yd firing line beyond the Porta-Potties and on the road behind the firing line.

Tents: You can set up tents. Sides NOT ALLOWED, and they must be quick to fold and move off the range...  Rule of thumb here, if the RSOs can't see clear down the line with your tent set up, it goes...
