R4 Optics Clinic - 5 Person Max

QSC is hosting an informal Optics Clinic on R4 that is LIMITED to 5 people. The clinic will have a 1-2 hour familiarization class followed by a 100yd zero session and then firing at 600yds to test concept and results. The purpose is to better acquaint long-range shooters with fundamentals to better their range sessions. This is the first clinic in a series with follow-on sessions building on each of the previous classes.

Clinic: Will proceed at 8am. Meet at the Range 4 Pit Gate (Gate 7).

Familiarization clinic: Range 4, 100yd line.

Live Fire: Range 4 100yd line and 600yd line. THIS IS NOT A REC FIRE and only for clinic participants.

Targets: Participants bring their own targets.

  • Needed - Paper Targets for 100yd Zero
  • Needed - Paper or Steel Targets for 600yd - Minimum distances for steel apply based on caliber

Time: Clinic will set-up at 0800 and complete no later than 1230.

PREREQUISITES: Pay attention as the Instructor will send you home - You MUST:

  • Have a long-range precision rifle (800yds +) with a mounted optic
    • The clinic is designed for regular Range 4 shooters and is not for AR-15 platforms or any non-precision rifle 
  • Have the operations manual for your optic and bring it to the clinic
  • Read your manual and understand how your optic functions - Questions about operations can be answered at the clinic
  • Be prepared to zero/re-zero your rifle during live fire and set the zero stop
    • Bring the normal items you would have for a Range 4 shooting day
      • Rifle and Ammo (suggest 50rds)
