Passing of Longtime Member Jim Morgan

Is it with sadness that we learned that long time QSC member Jim Morgan has passed. Jim had a medical event on the 31st and never recovered. He passed on the 4th while in the ICU at Mary Washington Hospital.

Jim was 85 years old and just had a birthday on December 21st. He was active for 50+ years teaching juniors and shooters participating in High Power disciplines. He was the driving force and head coach for the VFEMI Shooting Team and led them to an impressive number of podiums and victories at the many matches they shot over the years, as well as great success at Camp Perry.

My apologies as there will be those who know Jim and can better quantify his accomplishments than me, but suffice to say we have lost a great friend who was always willing to sacrifice himself for the sport and the team, as well as his decades of collective shooting sports knowledge. His leadership, contributions and mentorship cannot be overstated as he was the figurehead for VA, VFEMI and QSC for so many years; Jim's presence and wonderful stories will be sorely missed.

Please take a moment to remember Jim and keep his wife Carol in your thoughts and prayers.
